Arabia's Users Conversance 2004 Special Coverage |
IFS
Arabia annual user conference for 2004 was inaugurated
by His Excellency the Swedish Ambassador to the Kingdom
Mr. Ake Karesslon accompanied by the head of the
trade council Mr. Patrick El-Cheikh.The
conference, which was held on May 16, 2004 in Jeddah
with the theme of “IFS Applications 2004” whereby the
new Application release from IFS AB was launched and
the additional features and functionality offering were
demonstrated. IFS Conference for this year was co-sponsored by VOLVO,
SUN Microsystems, CASIO and Nour Net. |

for Khayyat Red Brick Factory in Bahra. The implementation
started in the 1st week of June and completed on the
20th of June, 2004. |

Armed
Forces Hospital |
| |
The
joint efforts of both the staff of the armed forces
hospital management and IFS consultants has ensured
that the Armed Forces Hospital in the Southern Region
_ Khamis Mushait has gone live with IFS Applications.
The 1st phase of the implementation has included General
Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Human Resource Management
& Payroll modules. |

Albilad
Fire Fighting Systems specializing in providing an integrated
Fire Fighting Systems to large Organizations such as
ARAMCO and SABIC. Albilad head offices are in the Eastern
Province and they serve their customers kingdom wide
from their head office location. Albilad went
live in January 2004 with phase one of an integrated
solution from IFS, this phase include the implementation
of Finance & Distribution Modules of IFS. This will
immediately be followed by Phase II, which covers the
Maintenance and projects components of IFS. |

Arabia launched seven Arabized 7th Versions of IFS Applications |

IFS
Arabia had started arabizing the application since 1998.
IFS team every year reviews and adds to the Arabic directory
used by IFS Applications. The new dictionary includes
Arabization of the web version. IFS Applications Arabic
includes all menu, screen text, help, mouse sensitive
help in addition to error messages, which makes it a
complete localization of the applications. |
